Modern Event Rental was honored to sponsor iConnect 2017!

MPI Minnesota is the Minnesota Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the largest global meeting and event industry association. MPI Minnesota has over 460 members, including: event planners, suppliers, affiliates, and students.

Held on February 16, MPI Minnesota’s iConnect 2017 was held at the Marriott Minneapolis Southwest. Described by MPI as “the innovation conference,” iConnect was held to discuss and explore innovation in the meeting and events industry. The day long event brought together hundreds of event professionals to network and learn, with a variety of different speakers and educational sessions.

Modern Event Rental has experience providing our event rentals to a wide variety of Minneapolis events, and we were honored to support iConnect 2017. We helped create the tech lounge and reception spaces, providing event furniture and charging furniture.

One of the newest additions to our inventory, our charging lockers, were very useful at the event, and got a lot of use. Our cell phone charging lockers can be custom branded and allowed iConnect attendees to charge their mobile devices and store them safely and securely in lockers. We also provided additional charging furniture, for those who didn’t want to be separated from their phones.
